This program is offered outside so you'll add some fresh air and the good feeling that nature provides into your day. Build your muscle, burn fat with plyometrics and cardiovascular exercise and get a great workout!

Brief Description Establish or maintain effective and refreshing exercise habits by enjoying 8 weeks of twice-weekly sessions. Working with a group of others makes it a lot more fun and keeps you more accountable.

This Program You can choose from 6am on either Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu. Group size is limited to 15 each so be sure to sign up as soon as you can to reserve your spot. We'll use our own bodies and what we find at parks and in nature to get a great fat burning and muscle building workout that combines cardiovascular and strengthening exercises with flexibility.

The Location 6am M/W At Shelley Lake and T/Th At Fletcher Park.

Brief Description Walk, run, bike and use your body weight for an awesome workout! We'll get in a long and energizing beach walk, followed by a fat-blasting and muscle building circuit, and finish with a beautiful tour of the island--on foot or wheels! Three hours will absolutely fly by! Each day will be awesome!

This Program You can choose either Saturday through Tuesday or Thursday through Sunday. Group size is limited to 20 each. Be sure to sign up and book your hotel as soon as possible to ensure that you get personal accomodations. Each day begins with a 60 minute beach walk, continues with 60 minutes of strength drills and ends with 60 minutes of moderate cardio. This program is effective and tons of fun in the sun! Don't worry, you can stop, slow down or lay down whenever you need to!

Better Add Another Mile

It's natural to want to treat yourself after a tough workout--but it's all too easy to eat more than you've earned. In his book, "The Diet Detective's Count Down," Charles Stuart Platkin gives the exercise equivalents for 7,500 foods. Here are how many minutes you need to run to burn off the calories of a few typical pre- and postrun foods and treats. All caclulations are based on a 155-pound person running 12-minute miles.

  1. I know that exercising in a training program is potentially hazardous. I should not enter and exercise unless I am medically able and properly trained to complete this program in the stated time. I assume all risks associated with the exercise including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, the effects of animals, and all other such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this agreement and knowing these facts and in consideration of accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive all right of tort and release The Body Sculptress, the event organizer, all city, county, state, and federal governments, all sponsors, and their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.
  2. I understand that all entry fees are final with no refunds, however The Body Sculptress may offer the registrant participation in another upcoming event. The Body Sculptress reserves the right to cancel any run/walk or to change the day and/or time to a later day or time (or to the next program) for any reason including, but not limited to, severe weather, hazardous conditions, public emergency, natural or accidental disaster on a local or national level, and lack of contracted support necessary to conduct the run/walk.
  3. For safety reasons dogs are not allowed during any The Body Sculptress events, but well-behaved children may accompany the parent at any time.
  4. By registering to participate in this event, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this participation agreement. Further, I agree to this liability waiver.
